GUARD OF HONOR OF THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS

The Guard of Honor is a Eucharistic prayer newly established in the Archdiocese of Vancouver and connected to an international movement in more than 30 countries. Our Lady of the Assumption is the first diocesan center, approved by Archbishop Miller in 2022.

Members choose one hour each day to offer their ordinary work, joys, and sufferings to the Sacred Heart of Jesus in a spirit of love and reparation. Rooted in the devotion shared by St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, this simple way of life helps members grow in holiness and support the needs of the Church and the world.   We meet on First Fridays in the annex after Mass, followed by a shared Holy Hour.
